This will be an in-depth, bank-focused session on fraud scenarios banks encounter, trends, bank liability assessment and an overview of regulation relating to ACH, Check and Wire Fraud liability. Financial losses from scams, imposters, and stolen checks continue to be on the rise and affecting consumers, businesses, and banks. This training is for any and all bank employees and management who encounter fraud, work with customers that are susceptible to fraud or whose role it is to protect the bank from losses due to fraud liability. 
 
Who Should Attend:
Retail, Consumer, Ag, and Commercial bankers and lenders, and operations personnel. Anyone who has customers that are susceptible to fraud.

Jamie is an attorney and the director of our KBA legal department and Banker Consulting Services. Our BCS attorneys are attentive to fraud trends and work with regulatory agencies, authorities, and other agencies to address the increasing fraud issues Kansas banks are facing. Through our Bankers Consulting Services our attorneys advise member banks in fraud prevention and loss recovery. They counsel member banks in fraud issues daily and assisted in recovering well over $500,000 in fraud loss last year! **Program fees are based on bank asset size. There is no limit on the number of people that can attend the virtual session from your financial institution. Please login and register one person from your bank and pay based on your bank’s asset size. Then email all other attendees (include attendee’s first and last name, bank location and e-mail) to education@ksbankers.com so that additional attendees can be registered free of charge to receive their own link and login information for the session.
