Karl Nelson is the Founder and CEO of KPN Consulting. His career has included senior positions with Silverton Bank, IDC Deposits, and Promontory Interfinancial Network. In addition, Karl served as a SVP with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta from 1991 through 2002 where he managed the sales and marketing, strategic planning, and trade association/regulatory outreach efforts and served on the bank's ALCO. Prior to joining the Home Loan Bank, he was involved for eighteen years with various regional banks. Karl serves on the faculties of the Graduate School of Banking and Executive Development Institute in Boulder, Colorado. Karl was an organizing Director and former ALCO Chair for a de novo bank in North Carolina and consults regularly with community bank Boards and Management on business strategies.
Eric Nelson - President, KPN Consulting
Eric Nelson is the President of KPN Consulting. Eric has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry - as both a banker and consultant. Prior to joining KPN Consulting, Eric served as CFO and Managing Partner of Greenbrier Properties, a commercial real estate company that developed, owned, and operated multifamily properties throughout the country. His career has also included positions at Wachovia Bank, Henssler Financial Group and Ameriprise Financial, and he has held Series 7, Series 66, and Insurance Licenses. Eric received his BA in Finance with a minor in Marketing from the Terry College of Business - University of Georgia.
